about
This is Joseph Matthew Tate's website, or, as I'm known to family, friends, colleagues and coworkers: Jody Tate. You can send an email to me using this form.
I live in Kirkland, WA and work as an Interface Designer and Developer for the Network Management Tools Team of Information Technology at the University of Washington. I'm Partner and Lead Designer at A Cleaner Internet. We make browser extensions and other cool web things.
I finished my Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Washington in August 2005. You can read my dissertation, Shakespeare, Prose and Verse: Unreadable Forms (1.14mb PDF file). I also edited The Music and Art of Radiohead in 2005 and I published an essay in 2009 that appears in Radiohead and Philosophy. I've written and published poems. I try to paint.
You can read over my résumé, too.
